Storage uses decimal units for capacity: 1 TB = 1000 GB (drives are marketed this way; your OS may report less because it counts in binary GiB). Data rate: 1 byte = 8 bits, so 1 Gbps = 125 MB/s, and 1000 Mbps = 125 MB/s. Divide Mbps by 8 for MB/s and multiply by 8 for the reverse.
