Method
- Assemble the component catalog from the in-repo hardware source (CPUs, GPUs, SSDs, PSUs, RAM, coolers, monitors).
- Attach each component's public specs from vendor datasheets and the TechPowerUp database, retrieved 2026-08-29.
- Compute a relative-performance tier per component, anchored to the category flagship.
- Export the full catalog and a 241-record open subset with complete public specs.
- Generate one consolidated guide page per component (specs, performance, compatibility, tuning, history).
Limitations
- The catalog is a curated coverage set of popular components, not a complete market catalog.
- Tiers are planning estimates from public spec-class data, not measured benchmark scores.
- Specs are typical manufacturer figures and may vary by model, region or revision.
- A historical redirect map preserves 2895 legacy per-type content URLs; the live site consolidates each component into a single guide page.
