How the tool works

  • VRR (G-Sync/FreeSync) is worth enabling. It matches the monitor's refresh to your FPS, removing tears without big input lag. Pair with a -3 FPS cap to stay in range.
  • Frame time is the budget, not FPS. At 144Hz you have 6.9ms per frame. If your GPU cannot hold that, you stutter — cap lower.
  • PPI determines sharpness, not resolution. A 32" 1440P panel is softer than a 27" 1440P panel. Match the size to the resolution.
